Heledd Fychan Canol De Cymru - South Wales Central

Annwyl gyfaill,  

Mae’n bleser gen i rannu gyda chi ein siaradwyr ar gyfer y cyfarfod diweddaraf o’r Rhwydwaith Argyfwng Costau Byw, fydd y tro yma yn Nhonyrefail ar Ddydd Gwener 18 Hydref.  

Andrew Butcher yw rheolwr Banc Bwyd Taf Elai, ac yn llawn ymwybodol o’r sefyllfa fel y mae hi ar lawr gwlad. Bydd Andrew a Mathew Stevens, Cydlynydd Ymgyrchoedd y Banc Bwyd yn rhoi trosolwg  o’r sefyllfa.   

Mae Dr. Steffan Evans yn swyddog polisi gyda Sefydliad Bevan – melin drafod sydd yn tyrchu’n ddwfn i mewn i bob math o sefyllfaoedd sydd yn creu yr argyfyngau costau byw sy’n ein wynebu ni heddiw.  

Comisiynydd Plant Cymru yw Rocio Ciffuentes. Ei gwaith hi yw annog plant Cymru i godi llais ac i greu Cymru lle perchir llais a lle plant Cymru.  

Gobeithio’n fawr y gallwch ymuno gyda ni ar y diwrnod, wrth i ni barhau i weithio mewn partneriaeth i gefnogi pobl yn ein cymunedau tra hefyd yn ymgyrchu am y newidiadau polisi fydd yn gwaredu tlodi, unwaith ac am byth.

Dear partner 

It is my pleasure to share with you our guest speakers for latest meeting of the Cost-of-Living Network, which will be held in Tonyrefail on Friday 18 October.  

Andrew Butcher is the manager of Taff-Ely Foodbank, and is very aware of the pressures in our communities. He and Mathew Stevens, the Campaign Coordinator will give an overview of the current situation.  

Dr. Steffan Evans is a policy officer with the Bevan Foundation – a think tank that is researching into how our society is suffering these cost of living crises and looks for practical solutions to help.  

Rocio Ciffuentes is the Children’s Commissioner for Wales. One of her roles is to help our children be heard and create a Wales where that voice is respected.  

I hope that you will be able to join us on the day, as we continue to work in partnership to support people living in our communities and campaign for policy changes that are needed to end poverty.
