It was great to be at the WWF Cymru, Wildlife Trust Wales, Afonydd Cymru and Soil Association roundtable at the Plaid Cymru Conference to discuss solutions to freshwater pollution across Wales and protecting communities from flooding.
Climate change provides a real and present danger, to so many communities, not least the residents of Clydach Terrace in my region as the first climate refugees in the UK.
Wales needs action now, with proactive investment, including nature-based solutions and collaboration across sectors, but involving people first and foremost in the solutions with an individual approach from river to river.
This will form part of Plaid Cymru’s commitment to create a greener, stronger, and more resilient Wales for communities and the economy alike.
