Last week in the Senedd, I had an opportunity to make a statement at the Senedd to celebrate 75 years of Welsh medium education in the Rhondda. This followed a wonderful and important evening a week ago at the Rhondda Heritage Park Hotel, celebrating and showcasing all that has been achieved, including the great many pupils who have benefited over the decades.
It’s important we remember how far we have come but also, that much more needs to be done. I pay tribute to everyone who has played their part over the decades and who continue to campaign to this day.
