Today, I’m launching a competition for local Primary school children to design a Christmas card or decoration.

The theme for this year’s Christmas competition is a ‘Green Christmas’

With the climate and nature emergency an important issue for everyone, I am encouraging primary school children across the region of South Wales Central to design a Christmas Card or decoration made from recycled materials.

There will be two categories: one for children aged under 7 and another for 7-11 year old’s.

A picture of the winning designs will be used for my Christmas e-card and the classroom of the winners will be invited to meet me at the Senedd.
