Heledd Fychan Canol De Cymru - South Wales Central

With the climate and nature emergency an important issue for everyone, I wanted to encourage primary school children across the region of South Wales Central to design a Christmas e-card or decoration made from recycled materials.

But I am delighted to announce that the winners of this year’s Christmas e-card competition are:

Under 7: Lois Rhodd – Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pont Sion Norton

7-11: Briallen Davies – Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llantrisant

Most creative class: Dosbarth A, Hawthorn Primary School

An e-card featuring their winning designs will be sent to people across Wales and winners will be receiving their prize next week. They will also be invited to visit the Senedd along with their class.

I want to thank everyone that entered my Christmas competition, I received so many amazing and creative entries from school children across the region and it was difficult to choose just three winners! Everyone that competed and provided contact details will receive a certificate for entering.
