I was proud to stand in solidarity with our ambulance workers on the picket line today (23.1.23). They are the backbone of our healthcare system and deserve fair wages and safer working conditions.

Their message to the Health Minister is clear  - the strike is not just about pay, but about patient safety and their ability to be able to provide the best possible care to everyone that needs their help.

I will continue to stand with our ambulance workers and all healthcare staff, and will do everything in my power to make sure their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. The Welsh Government can’t continue to ignore the concerns of frontline healthcare staff any longer. We need action not just warm words.
