It was a pleasure to attend the launch of the MND Society’s Manifesto for Wales today in Cardiff.
Their Manifesto is very clear in what it’s asking of the Welsh Government, the NHS and Local Government to undertake to ensure equitable service provision across Wales — including timely and appropriate adapted housing; adequate financial support for carers; and championing high‑quality, collaborative research.
It’s important that the next Welsh Government gets this right so that patients and families don’t suffer the same frustrations and injustices as many have in the past. Roedd yn bleser mynychu lansiad Maniffesto Cymdeithas MND i Gymru heddiw yng Nghaerdydd.
