Welsh Water Boil Water Notice

๐Ÿšฐ Welsh Water update on Boil Water Notice ๐Ÿšฐ
I have been in direct contact Welsh Water who have now provided further information on the steps it is taking in response to the current boil water notice affecting customers.
They are working closely with local authorities, health boards and community organisations to identify and support vulnerable customers โ€” including those who may not currently be registered on its Priority Services Register. Residents are also being encouraged to get in touch if they are concerned about a neighbour, friend or relative who may need additional assistance and can contact the emergency helpline on 0800 052 0130
๐Ÿ“ข A range of communication methods is being used to keep customers informed, including text messages, website updates, social media, and engagement with local stakeholders and community groups. Recognising that not everyone can be reached digitally, Welsh Water is also working with elected representatives and partner organisations to share information as widely as possible.
๐Ÿ“ Customers can sign up to the Priority Services Register online https://www.dwrcymru.com/en/help-advice/priority-services or by phone 0800 052 0145. Additional support is being coordinated with partner agencies during the incident.
๐Ÿ“ Locations for bottled water stations are currently being finalised, with details to be confirmed shortly via official channels.
Home deliveries of bottled water will be prioritised for the most vulnerable customers who cannot travel to collection points.
If you have concerns about this notice or vulnerable people you know having access to bottled water stations, please get in touch with my office on [email protected] or contact Dลตr Cymru Directly.
